Pets of the Week

This weeks Dogs of the Week is Miss Eloise!

This precious ol' lady we are calling Miss Eloise. She joined us at HSSCG after she was found wandering a neighborhood, 2106 Johnston Street in early January. She is around 12 years old. At the time she was found, she was already spayed but not microchipped. She is a small curly coated poodle, purebred, apricot color. This precious lil muffin is deaf and blind; but she sure has spunk! It seems she has been potty trained, although she has a hard time looking for the door--she's got a great sense of smell! Like all of our dogs under care of HSSCG, Miss Eloise has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and receives Heartgard heartworm preventative monthly to prevent Heartworm disease. We send home 3 months of Heartgard heartworm preventative with you. Miss Eloise is ready to go into her furever loving home. Until then, this sweetie is in need of foster care—this way she doesn’t have to be confined to a lonely kennel when she needs people to feel and smell! Please inquire about becoming a part of our foster program.

This weeks Cat of the Week is Lily Pearl!

Our darling Lily Pearl was declawed before she arrived at HSSCG, so she most definitely needs to be an indoor cat. She is a laid-back cat who just wants to go home with you! She would love to have a cat door with access to a screened outside porch and the ability to roam the house free to catch invading insects and rodents. She would make a wonderful porch cat because she prefers to come and go as she pleases. What a great mouse-catching cat she is! She will be handy for this fall. Like all of our cats, Lily Pearl has been spayed, microchipped, given a Capstar to treat any fleas and ticks, and tested for Heartworm disease (HTWM), feline leukemia (FELV) and feline aids (FIU). Come visit with Lily Pearl at your local Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia today.
